DESCRIPTION:
“Make my own curry? You’re Rogan joshing.” For £34, spice up your skills with a ‘Level One’ Indian cookery class from Mela Group, either at the Shaftesbury Avenue restaurant or at Chowki on Denman Street.

For the more advanced, a £49 three-and-a-half hour ‘Level Two’ class covers making bhajis, breads, and a British favourite, jeera aloo (a £115 value). Or, opt for ‘Level Three’ and pay £59 to reel in Goan fish curry, lamb rogan josh, and mango lassis (a £130 value).

Each class is tailored to the students’ ability and requirements, and the levels can be taken in any order. Today’s deal is everything you need to tinker with tikka and puff your puris.

OUR VERDICT/REVIEW:
This is the first time I’ve seen an Indian cooking class on a daily deal site, and this cooking class from the Mela group is good. For one, its at their Mela and Chowski restaurants, two quite famous and quite delicious Indian restaurants in London. So the cooking classes at the Mela and Chowski should be good.

At £34 its not the cheapest cooking classes we have seen, but the implied quality of the instruction from two iconic Indian restaurants in London is more than enough to reassure me that this is a great deal.
