About The Event
This show has strutted onto the West End stage, bringing along star-studded performances by Justin Lee Collins and Shayne Ward. The cast’s leather-clad moves have seen the production nominated for a Tony Award, declared Best Musical in 2011 Broadway World West End Awards, and adapted into an up-coming Hollywood film starring Tom Cruise. Keeping up rhythm throughout June, the show fills the seats of Shaftesbury Theatre, a prestigious performer in London’s cultural scene.

OUR VERDICT/REVIEW:
This is one of the musicals in London, and seems like it could be quite a hit! While there are many dodgy musical ticket deals on Groupon in the past, the thing that swung this deal for me is that the tickets are sold directly from The Shaftesbury Theatre, which is the theatre where Rock of Ages is showing at. So you’re buying directly from the official box office – no chance of ticket screw-ups!

For £29.50, you’re getting a ticket in the top price ticket band, which is £65. Which is a great deal, considering how expensive musical tickets are in general these days – I still remember the days when they only cost £30 for full price tickets right in front of the stage.

The only small print you have to worry about is that the discounted top priced tickets are only valid for Tuesday to Friday evening performances only, and you can only book performances up to 29th June 2012. Luckily, Groupon have a very good refund policy, so if you can’t get the dates you want after the deal finishes, just request for a credit refund and Groupon are normally quite good at doing that straight away.
